Objective of the Game
The main goal of Stoppessen is to eat as much of a chocolate bar as possible before being stopped. It's a fun and quick game often played at parties or in a social setting.
Equipment Needed
- A bar of chocolate, wrapped in foil or paper.
- A pair of gloves (e.g., winter gloves).
- A die.
- A fork and a knife.
Number of Players
The game can be played with at least 4 players, but there is no fixed maximum.
Game Rules

Setup: Place the chocolate on a table with the fork, knife, and gloves around it. All players sit around the table.

Starting the Game: Players take turns rolling a single die. The goal is to roll a six.

Eating Chocolate: Once a player rolls a six, they must quickly put on the gloves and try to unwrap and eat the chocolate using the fork and knife. The player may only touch and eat the chocolate with the utensils.

Turn Ends: Meanwhile, the other players keep rolling in turn. As soon as the next player rolls a six, the current “eater” must stop immediately, leave the gloves and utensils, and the new player begins unwrapping and eating the chocolate.

End of the Game: The game ends when the chocolate is completely eaten or the players decide to stop.
Strategic Considerations
- Speed: Quickly enter the game by swiftly putting on the gloves and efficiently using the utensils.
- Watch the Rolling: Pay close attention when other players roll the die to waste no time when a six is rolled.
- Improve Technique: Develop an effective technique to unwrap and bite into chocolate quickly.
Special Features
- The game can be easily modified to make it more difficult, such as using thicker gloves or changing the starting conditions (e.g., needing to roll double sixes instead of a regular six).
- Note: This is a luck-based game with dexterity elements primarily for fun. Be careful when playing and ensure that no one chokes on chocolate or gets injured in other ways.
