Jenga
Objective of the Game
The goal of Jenga is to keep the tower standing as long as possible while carefully removing blocks and placing them on top. The player whose move causes the tower to fall loses the game.
Game Setup
- Jenga consists of a tower made of 54 wooden blocks.
- The tower is initially built using the packaging as a guide, stacking blocks in perpendicular sets of three.
- Once the tower is built, the packaging is carefully removed, leaving the tower standing at a total of 18 levels.
Game Rules
- The player who built the tower goes first.
- Removing a Block: Players take turns removing one block at a time from any level except the topmost completed three levels.
- Only one hand can be used at a time.
- Players may tap or touch a block gently to find a loose one before removing it.
- Placing the Block: The removed block must be placed on top of the tower to form a new level or continue an incomplete one.
- The next player begins their turn.
- The game ends when the tower collapses. The player who caused the collapse loses.
Strategies
- Start by removing loose blocks from higher levels to maintain overall stability early on.
- Try to remove blocks from the middle of levels to help balance the weight evenly.
- Control any jitters and employ a gentle touch to prevent unintended movements.
- Observe the tower's tilt and attempt to balance it by placing new top blocks strategically.
Important Tips - Avoid disturbing other blocks too much as it might destabilize the tower. - Be patient and allow the tower to settle before taking your next move.
Have fun playing Jenga!
