Objective of the Game
In RinglDing, the objective is to be the first player to recreate a pattern shown on a card using colored rings on your finger.
Game Components
- 32 rings in five different colors
- 32 task/pattern cards
- 1 bell
Setup
- Shuffle the pattern cards and place them as a face-down stack on the table.
- Place the bell in the center of the table, accessible to all players.
- Each player receives seven colored rings, one of each color.
Gameplay
- One player reveals the top pattern card from the stack and places it face-up in the center of the table.
- All players simultaneously view the depicted pattern and try to recreate it as quickly as possible by slipping their colored rings onto one of their fingers in the correct order.
- As soon as a player believes they have recreated the pattern accurately, they ring the bell to end the round.
- The other players then check the pattern of the player who rang the bell. If it's correct, that player wins the card as a point. If the pattern is incorrect, that player may no longer compete in that round.
End of the Game
The game ends when all cards have been used or when a predetermined number of cards have been won. The player with the most cards wins the game.
Strategic Tips
- Speed is crucial; practice quickly recognizing and assembling the patterns.
- Focus on sliding the rings in the correct order without turning your gaze from the pattern card.
- Keeping calm in stressful moments is vital to avoid mistakes.
RinglDing combines dexterity and quick perception, making it particularly suitable for play with children and families.
