Objective of the Game
The objective of Air Hockey is to score goals against your opponent by hitting the puck into their goal while defending your own goal. The first player to reach a predetermined number of goals wins the game.
Game Components
- Air Hockey Table: A smooth surface table with raised edges and goals at both short ends.
- Puck: A round, flat disk that slides across the table.
- Mallets: Small paddles held by players to strike the puck.
Rules of the Game
- Setup:
- Each player takes a mallet and positions themselves at one end of the table.

The puck is placed in the center of the table.

Start of Play:
- A coin can be flipped to decide which player gets the first strike.

The game begins with the player striking the puck with their mallet.

Scoring:
- A player scores by striking the puck into the opponent’s goal.

Each goal counts as one point.

Movement:
- The puck must hit the sides of the table to be redirected.

Players cannot cross the centerline of the table with their mallet.

Fouls:
- A player cannot lift or hold the puck with their mallet.

Touching the puck with hands or any other body part is forbidden.

End of Game:
- The game ends when one player reaches the agreed number of points (usually 7 or 10 points).
Strategic Tips
- Train Reflexes: Quick reflexes are crucial to effectively defend against attacks and mount your own offensive.
- Positioning: Keep your mallet close to your goal to quickly respond to incoming shots.
- Use Deception: Quick movements or sudden changes in direction can catch an opponent off guard.
- Utilize Angles: Shooting the puck at an angle can unpredictably alter its path and confuse the opponent.
