Objective of the Game

In "Over the Edge," your goal is to build a tower using game pieces without letting it topple over. The player who manages to build the tower successfully or is the last to place a piece without the tower falling wins the game.

Game Components

  • A set of game pieces in various shapes and sizes.
  • A flat surface to build the tower on.

Setup

  1. Place all game pieces in the middle of the table.
  2. Decide which player goes first, either by rolling a dice or mutual agreement.

Gameplay

1. Player Turn: - Turn Order: The first player takes a game piece from the supply and places it on the play area. - Piece Placement: Every piece must be placed entirely on the tower and cannot hang over the edge. Exception: Certain pieces may break these rules (see "Special Pieces"). - Turn Sequence: Players take turns in succession. Once one player's turn ends, the next player proceeds.

2. Tower Check: Should the tower tumble after a player finishes their turn, that player is out of the game, and the previous player wins. However, if the tower remains standing, the next piece is placed.

Special Pieces

  • Weight Stones: These heavy stones can be used to stabilize the tower, but their number is limited.
  • Special Blocks: Some pieces can overhang or must touch specific colors.

Strategic Tips

  • Think Ahead: Consider the balance and weight distribution within the tower.
  • Build Wide First: A solid base increases your tower's stability.
  • Use special pieces wisely to give yourself an advantage or make the tower more challenging for opponents.

End of the Game

The game ends when the tower falls. The player who caused the fall loses, while the last successful player is the winner.
