Objective of the Game:

The main objective of H.O.R.S.E. is to avoid getting letters. Players receive a letter each time they fail to replicate a basket shot successfully made by another player. If a player receives all the letters spelling "H.O.R.S.E.", they are out of the game.

Setup:

1. Number of Players: Any number of players; however, 2 to 4 players is optimal for a balanced duration.
2. Equipment: You will need a basketball and a hoop.

Gameplay:

1. Choosing the Starting Player: The first player chooses any basketball shot from any position on the court and attempts it.
2. First Shot: The starting player attempts a shot, and all other players must replicate it.
3. Successful Shot: If the first player makes the shot, all following players must try to make the same shot.
4. Missed Shot: If the first player misses, the next player takes their turn to set the shot challenge.
5. Copying the Shot: Each player takes turns replicating the shot.
6. Successful Copy: If a player makes the shot, no action is taken for them.
7. Failed Attempt: If a player misses the shot, they receive the next letter of H.O.R.S.E.

Special Rules and Considerations:

• The order of players does not change. Each player takes their turn in a fixed sequence.
• Choosing the Shot: The player setting the shot can choose any shot type, given they successfully make it first.
• Choose unique or challenging shots to throw off your opponents or put them in an awkward position.
• A player who completes spelling H.O.R.S.E. is eliminated from the game.
• The game continues until only one player remains, who then is the winner.
