Gameplay
The game begins with the selection of one player to be the “Poor Black Cat.” This player must interact with another player to start the game:
- The poor black cat crawls on their knees to any player in the circle.
- The player acting as the cat meows and looks at the chosen player.
- The addressed player must respond by saying "Poor black cat," petting the cat's head three times without laughing.
- The challenge is to do this without laughing or losing focus. It is crucial to "take the cat" seriously, regardless of how humorous the situation might become.
- Failure: If the player laughs or misspeaks, they become the new "Poor Black Cat."
Rules and Special Features
- Success: If the addressed player successfully responds and pets, the "Poor Black Cat" chooses a new player.
- Variety: To keep the game exciting, players can vary their role as the cat with funny sounds, facial expressions, or creative movements.
- Stay Serious: The major challenge is to remain serious, even if the "cat" acts very amusingly.
