Objective of the Game
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is a fast-paced and funny card game where the objective is to get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. The aim is to have no cards left in hand.
Game Components
- A deck of cards featuring various images of Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, and Pizza.
Setup
- Shuffle the cards well and distribute them equally among the players. Each player forms a face-down pile in front of them.
Gameplay
- Start the round: The first player places the top card of their pile face-up in the center of the table and says aloud “Taco”.
- The next player (clockwise) places their top card on the table pile and says “Cat”.
- This continues in turn with the words “Goat”, “Cheese”, and “Pizza”, then starting again with “Taco”.
- Whenever the spoken word matches the card laid down (e.g., "Cat" is said and a Cat card is placed), ALL players must quickly slap their hand down on the pile of cards.
- Objective: The last player to slap their hand on the pile must take all cards from the center pile into their personal stack.
Special Cards
- Besides the normal cards, there are special cards such as Gorilla, Narwhal, and Groundhog.
- When these cards are played, all players must perform certain actions before slapping the pile:
- Gorilla: Pound on your chest.
- Narwhal: Form a horn on your forehead with your hands.
- Groundhog: Tap the table.
Winning
- The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
- Note: A win must be confirmed by a successful slap on the pile.
Strategic Tips
- Attention: It's crucial to stay consistently attentive and always be prepared for the next card with its accompanying word.
- Reaction Time: Practice quick reactions to avoid being the last one to slap on matches.
Conclusion
This game is a mix of reaction challenge and memory exercise that results in many humorous moments. It is perfect for parties and family gatherings.
