Objective of the Game
The goal of "Who Am I?" is to determine which famous, historical, or fictional character you represent by asking insightful Yes/No questions. This game encourages communication skills and logical thinking.
Game Materials
- Sticky notes or index cards
- Pens
- A clock or timer (optional)
Setup
- Each player writes the name of a famous person, historical figure, or fictional character on a sticky note or card. The characters should be well-known to all players.
- The notes are shuffled.
- Each player then sticks a note on their forehead without looking at it, ensuring that others can read the name.
Gameplay
- Determine Order: Choose who starts. This can be done randomly, like the youngest player goes first.
- Asking Questions: The active player asks a Yes/No question to gather clues about their identity, e.g., “Am I a real person?” or “Am I male?”
- Yes/No Answers: The fellow players answer truthfully with "yes" or "no."
- If the answer is "yes," the player continues with another question.
- If the answer is "no," the next player takes their turn.
- Guessing: When a player believes they know who they are, they can make a guess instead of a question. If correct, they win the game and can decide to end or continue with another round if agreed upon by the players. If wrong, the next player proceeds.
Ending the Game
The game ends when all players have successfully guessed who they are, or when a predetermined time has elapsed.
Strategy Tips
- Question Selection: Ask questions that can quickly narrow down possibilities by categorization (profession, fictional/real, era, etc.).
- Observation: Observe what questions help other players so as to gain insights for your own.
With these rules and tips, you are ready to play "Who Am I?" Enjoy the fun of guessing and discovering!
