Pictures - Game Instructions
Objective of the Game
The objective of Pictures is to provide creative clues for other players to identify a photo accurately. At the same time, you’re trying to interpret the clues from other players to guess the correct photos. Points are awarded for each correct identification.
Game Components
- 91 photo cards
- 48 symbol tiles
- 24 picture frames (8 frames each in red, blue, green)
- 1 scoring pad
- 5 different material sets:
- 1x shoelace,
- 4x wooden blocks of varying sizes,
- 6x color cubes,
- 19x symbols,
- 1x building blocks set.
Gameplay
- Setup:
- Shuffle the photo cards and lay 16 cards face-up in a 4x4 grid in the middle of the table.
- Each player receives a notes sheet from the scoring pad.

Each player draws a material set without looking.

Round Sequence:
- Each player takes one material set and receives a random letter-number combination that assigns them one of the 16 photos (e.g., card C2).
- Now each player uses their allocated materials to represent the photo to the other players. No spoken language or additional hints are allowed.

Once all players have finished their representations, everyone guesses simultaneously which photo each player is representing by noting down the correct letter-number combinations.

Scoring:
- Each player reveals their letter-number combination in turn, and the other players compare their guesses.
- For each correct match, both the player who used the material and the players who guessed correctly earn a point.

Points are recorded on the scoring pad.

End of Rounds and Game Conclusion:
- After all rounds with different materials are completed – more players mean more varied rounds – all points are tallied.
- The player with the most points wins the game.
