Objective of the Game
Loopin' Louie is a fast-paced and entertaining dexterity game played by 2 to 4 players. The objective of each player is to protect their farm chips from the erratic pilot Louie, flying around in his small looping airplane.
Components
- 1 Louie Plane on a motorized arm
- 1 Base with a rotating arm
- 4 Player stations with flippers and chips (3 chips per player)
Setup
- Place the base with the rotating arm in the center of the playing area.
- Attach the Louie plane to the end of the arm.
- Each player chooses a station and places their three chips on it.
- Position the flipping mechanism in front of each player, allowing them to flick upwards to divert Louie's flight over the chips.
Gameplay
- Turn on the base to start rotating the arm with Louie.
- Louie flies in a circle and his altitude varies due to looping movements.
- Use the flipping mechanism to flick Louie upwards, preventing him from hitting your chips.
- If Louie lands on your station and knocks off a chip, it's removed.
- The players fend off Louie until only one player with chips remains.
End of the Game
- The game ends when a player loses all their chips.
- The winner is the player who still has chips left at the end.
Strategic Tips
- Timing is crucial: try to flick Louie away before he reaches your chips.
- Observe Louie's flight patterns to anticipate when he will approach your station.
- Practice using the flipping mechanism to get a better feel for the right strength and timing.
