Objective of the Game
In Eselsbrücke, the aim is to score the most points by creating and remembering mnemonic stories from a set of images. Players must recall these stories to correctly assign images to themselves and others.

- Image Cards with various motifs
- Symbol Cards with different symbols
- Scoring board
- Game instructions
Setup
- Shuffle all the Image Cards thoroughly.
- Place the Scoring board in the center of the playing area.
- Each player receives a Symbol Card.
- Prepare a stack of Image Cards.
Gameplay
1. Creating Mnemonics
- Each round, a player draws a certain number of Image Cards.
- The player views these cards secretly and then lays them out openly.
- This player invents a short story or mnemonic that connects all the cards in a meaningful sequence and reads it aloud.
2. Remembering and Matching
- In the following round, players must remember the mnemonics.
- Once all players have created and shared their stories, the Matching Phase begins.
- During this phase, image cards are drawn at random, and players must match the cards they remember to the correct mnemonics.
Scoring
- Points are awarded for each correctly matched image card, depending on whether it's from their mnemonic or another player’s.
- If a player cannot match a card correctly, they receive penalty points.
- The game ends after a set number of rounds or when all cards have been used.
Winning the Game
- The player with the highest score wins.

- Ensure your mnemonics are creative and memorable to make recalling them easier.
- Listen attentively to the other players’ stories to correctly match their cards.
