Objective: In Tabija, the goal is to strategically place stones to create specific formations, earning points in the process. It requires strategic thinking and timing to counteract the opponent's moves and secure one's own advantages.

Components: - A board with 8x8 squares - Two sets of stones in different colors, such as black and white

Setup: - Each player receives 16 stones of their color. - Stones are placed on the board squares during the game.

Gameplay: 1. Starting the Game: Players decide randomly or mutually who goes first. 2. Turns: Players take turns placing one of their stones on an empty square on the board. 3. Formations: Whenever a player places three of their stones in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line, they score points. 4. Scoring: - Three stones in a horizontal or vertical line: 1 point - Three stones in a diagonal line: 2 points 5. End of Game: The game ends when the board is completely filled with stones or when no more viable moves can be made.

Special Rules and Strategies: - Blocking: Players should try to block the opponent's formations to prevent them from scoring. - Forward Planning: With a limited playing field, it is important to foresee where future formations can be made. - Forced Move: Strategic positioning can force an opponent into a disadvantageous position.

Variants: There are no official variants of Tabija, but the board can be expanded to increase playtime and complexity.

Tabija is a simple yet strategically challenging game that is easy to learn but requires practice to master.
