Objective of the Game
In the board game "SPQR", players take on the roles of Roman leaders competing for fame and honor in the ancient Roman world. The player who accumulates the most influence and glory by the end of the game wins.

Setup
- Game Board Setup: Place the game board in the center of the table.

Game Flow
- Round Play: The game consists of several rounds, each comprising different phases, usually comprising Planning, Action, and Evaluation.
- Planning: At the beginning of each round, players draw influence cards they can use during that round.
- Action: Players now take turns performing actions such as placing markers on the board or playing influence cards for various benefits.
- Evaluation: After actions, check the current standings and apply any control changes on the board.
Strategic Tips
- Card Selection: It's crucial to choose the right cards at the right time to maximize influence on the board.
- Resource Management: Manage resources wisely. Players who keep careful track of their available markers and cards are often more successful.

End of the Game
The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds or when a specific condition is met (e.g., control of certain territories).
Victory
The player with the most victory points, controlling the most territories and having the highest influence, is declared the winner at the end of the game.
