Objective of the Game
Schipka-Pass is a traditional trick-taking card game where the goal is to win as many tricks as possible. The winner is the player who reaches a predetermined score first or has the most points after a set number of rounds.
Game Materials
- A standard deck of 52 playing cards (no Jokers).
Setup
- Each player draws a card. The player with the highest card becomes the dealer.
- The dealer shuffles the deck and deals five cards to each player. The remaining cards form the draw pile.
Gameplay Instructions
- Determining the Trump Suit: Flip the bottom card of the draw pile face up. Its suit is the trump for the current round.
- Starting the Game: The player to the left of the dealer leads the first card. Other players must follow suit if possible.
- Winning a Trick: The highest trump or, if no trump was played, the highest card of the led suit wins the trick. The winner of the trick collects the cards and places them in front of them.
- Special Rule: If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any other card.
- Next Round: The winner of the trick leads the next card.
Scoring
- Counting Cards: Each player counts the number of cards in their won tricks.
- Scoring: Each card counts as one point.
- Bonus Points: Special points may be awarded for certain combinations (e.g., a high number of trump cards).
Game End
The game ends when a player reaches the pre-set score or after a certain number of rounds. The player with the most points wins the game.

- Leveraging the Suit Requirement: Pay attention to how other players are playing and use the suit requirement to your advantage by making them play strong cards early.
