Objective of the Game
The objective of High Turkish is to reach the highest score over several rounds. It is a simple card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards plus three jokers.
Preparation
- Number of Players: At least 3 players.
- A standard deck of cards (52 cards) plus 3 jokers is needed.
- Each player draws a card. The player with the highest card starts.
Game Play
Beginning of Rounds
- Each player is dealt eight cards. The rest of the cards form a draw pile.
- One player is designated as the dealer, who deals the cards in each round.
Course of the Game

The dealer starts the first round by playing a card. All other players must play a card of the same suit if they can. If not, they may play any other card.

The player who plays the highest card in the required suit wins the trick and takes the played cards.

Jokers:
- They trump all other cards regardless of suit.

The "High Turkish" is considered the highest joker in the game.

The winner of a trick plays the first card for the next trick.
End of Rounds
- After all eight tricks of a round have been played, the tricks won are counted.
- Each won trick counts as one point.
- Record the players' points.
Special Rules
- Non-Compliance: A player who could have played a card in the required suit but plays a different suit loses one point.
Winning the Game
- The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds (usually five).
- The player with the highest total score wins the game.
