Objective
Party Bugs is a fun card game where players try to get rid of their hand of cards by playing cards that match the cards on the table. The goal is to have as few cards as possible left at the end of the game.
Players and Setup
- Number of Players: 2 to 6 players
- Materials: A card deck specifically designed for "Party Bugs"
- Setup: Shuffle the cards thoroughly and deal an equal number of cards to each player. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center as a draw pile.
Gameplay

Turn over the first card: Flip the top card of the draw pile and place it face up next to it. This is the start of the discard pile.

Player's turn:
- Play proceeds clockwise. The active player tries to lay down a card from their hand onto the discard pile.
- The card played must match either the color or the number of the top card on the discard pile.

If a player cannot or does not wish to play a matching card, they must draw a card from the draw pile. This card may not be played during that turn, regardless of whether it matches or not.

Special cards:
- Party Card: Playing a Party Card reverses the direction of play (from clockwise to counterclockwise and vice versa).

Draw 1 Card: The next player must draw one card and ends their turn.

Ending a round:
- A round ends when a player has played their last card.

The other players then count the penalty points printed on each card they still hold.

Ending the game:
- The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds or when a player reaches a certain number of penalty points. The player with the fewest penalty points wins the game.

- Hand management: Try to keep as many different values and colors in your hand as possible to remain flexible for any card that appears.
