Objective of the Game
Bushido is a strategic board game where players take on the roles of samurais competing for honor and power. The objective of the game is to achieve more prestige than your opponents through skillful use of abilities and strategic planning.

Setup
- Set up the board: Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Distribute figures: Each player chooses a color and takes the corresponding samurai figures.
- Deal cards: Shuffle the skill cards and deal a specific number to each player.
- Place tokens: Each player receives prestige tokens and places them visibly in front of them.
- Choose a starting player: Select a starting player to begin the first round.
Gameplay
Each round consists of several phases played in sequence:
1. Planning Phase
Each player secretly chooses a skill card from their hand that they wish to use this round.
2. Action Phase
- Movement: Players move their samurai figures across the board to reach strategically important regions.
- Combat: If two opposing figures are in the same region, a battle occurs. The battle is resolved using dice and skill cards.
3. Honor Phase
At the end of each round, players gain prestige tokens based on the battles won and the regions controlled.
Victory Conditions
The game ends when all rounds have been played or a player has collected a predetermined number of prestige tokens. The player with the most prestige tokens wins the game.
Strategic Tips
- Planning is key: Carefully consider when to use your strongest skill cards.
- Control regions: Control strategically important regions to gain additional tokens during the Honor Phase.
- Bluff: Use the secret selection of skill cards to surprise your opponents.
Bushido requires players to manage their resources wisely and think ahead to claim victory.
