Objective of the Game
Identik is a creative party game where players demonstrate their drawing skills. The goal is to draw a picture as accurately as possible from a verbal description given by one player, the Teller. Points are awarded based on accuracy and detail, rather than artistic talent.
Components
The game includes image cards, each to be described in detail, plus criteria cards and a timer.
Setup
At the start of the game, one player is chosen to be the Teller. This player draws the first image card without showing it to the other players. The other players need a pen and a sheet of paper.
Gameplay
- Drawing Phase:
- The Teller has 90 seconds to describe the picture as clearly and in as much detail as possible. Other players can ask questions, but the Teller cannot show the image card.

Meanwhile, the other players attempt to draw the picture based on the Teller's instructions.

Evaluation Phase:
- After the time is up, the drawn pictures are evaluated by reading out the criteria card, which contains secret details of the image (e.g., "The house has three windows," "The dog is standing to the left of the tree").

Points are awarded for each fulfilled criterion.

Scoring:
- The Teller can also earn points, depending on how well players fulfill or guess the criteria.
- Collected points are recorded.
Rounds
After each round, the role of Teller changes. A pre-decided number of rounds are played, and the player with the most points wins.
Strategic Tips
- Listen for Details: Accuracy in hearing the verbal description is more important than artistic ability.
- Ask Questions: Take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions on details you are unsure about.
- Strategic Drawing: Place objects on your paper in a way that they can be easily adjusted if needed.

No complicated rules are present; the main focus is on narrative humor and the joy of surprising or funny drawings. The cards provide a wide range of motifs to keep every round fresh and entertaining.
