Sherlock Express

Objective of the Game

The objective of Sherlock Express is to be the best detective and capture the most guilty suspects. Each player acts as a detective, trying to solve cases by checking clues and eliminating innocent suspects until only one guilty character remains.

Game Components

• 27 Alibi Cards with different animals/characters to clear suspects
• 6 Scene Cards with symbols such as time, place, or other clues
• A rulebook

Game Setup

1. Shuffle the alibi cards well and place them face down in a draw pile in the center of the table.
2. Shuffle the scene cards as well and place them in the center.
3. Each player should have enough space to lay out cards in front of them.

Gameplay

1. Draw six alibi cards from the draw pile and place them face up in a circle around the pile.
2. Draw a scene card and place it face up in the middle of the alibi circle.
3. Players must quickly match the clues on the scene card with the alibi cards.

Exclusion Rules

• Each scene card shows symbols that concern ALL suspects.
• If an alibi symbol matches a scene symbol, it means that the character cannot be the culprit.

• Players compare the scene card symbols with the alibi symbols to exclude innocent characters.

• When a player is certain they have identified the only remaining guilty suspect, they quickly grab and reveal this card.

• If the suspicion is correct, the player keeps the card as a point. If they are wrong, they must return a previously won card.
• The next round begins by drawing more alibi cards until the draw pile is exhausted.

End of the Game

The game ends when there are no more alibi cards to draw. The player who has identified the most correct culprits, thus collecting the most cards, wins the game.
