Objective of the Game
Tschapajew is a board game for two players requiring skill and strategy. The goal is to knock all the opponent's pieces off the board.
Materials
- A checkerboard (8x8 squares)
- 8 Black and 8 White pieces (similar to checkers pieces)
Setup
- Each player chooses a color.
- The first row of pieces is placed on each player's side on the first row of the board.
Gameplay
- White starts the game. The player flicks one of their pieces with a finger, aiming to knock one or more opposing pieces off the board.
- Players take turns performing their moves.
- A move consists of flicking any number of one's pieces with the aim to skillfully knock other pieces.
- If a piece flies off the board (any piece), it remains off.
Rounds and Points
- A round ends when all pieces of one color have been knocked off the board.
- The winner of the round is the player with remaining pieces on the board.
- A full game can be played as a series of rounds, with the player winning the most rounds winning the overall game.
Strategic Tips
- Consider the positioning of your pieces: Attempt to create tactical advantages by strategically arranging pieces in angles to enemy pieces.
- Combination shots: Try to knock multiple opponent's pieces with a single move.
- Avoid self-knockouts: Try not to knock your own pieces off the board simultaneously.
Tschapajew combines elements of luck and strategy, requiring precise flicking skills and tactical planning.
