Objective
Panic Tower! is an exciting dexterity game where players try to drive their opponents to despair by building increasingly taller towers with game pieces. The player who stacks best and keeps the tower stable the longest wins the game.
Game Components
- A square game board organized in a 4x4 grid.
- 60 playing pieces in three different sizes (small, medium, large).
- 36 game cards with stacking instructions.
Setup
- Set up the game board: Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Provide playing pieces: All pieces should be easily reachable by all players.
- Shuffle the deck: Shuffle the instruction cards and place them face down on the table.
Game Flow
- Order of play: Determine a starting player. Players take turns in a clockwise direction.
- Draw a card: The active player draws the top card from the deck and reads its instructions aloud. These could involve:
- Placing: Place one or more pieces onto an empty or already occupied space on the game board.
- Replacing: Swap an already placed piece for another.
- Removing: Remove a piece from the game board.
- Placing Pieces: The player must follow the card’s instructions and end their turn afterward.
- Do not topple a tower: If a player topples a tower or knocks pieces off the board during their turn, they are out of the game.
Winning Conditions
The game ends when only one player remains who has not toppled a tower, or when all the cards have been played. The player with the fewest toppled towers wins.
Strategic Tips
- Cautious Stacking: It's essential to stack carefully and deliberately, as even slight shifts can cause the tower to fall.
- Positioning the First Piece: Place the first piece in an area with care, as it will support the rest.
