Objective of the Game
BattleLore is a tactical miniatures game where two players face off, aiming to achieve mission objectives and score points through exploration and combat. Each player controls one of the two factions, striving to either defeat the opposing army or accomplish alternative mission goals to win.

Setup

- Deployment: Players place their troops according to scenario guidelines on their half of the board.
- Deck Preparation: Players draw command cards to be used during play.
Gameplay
The game is played in alternating turns, divided into several phases:
- Command Phase: The active player selects and plays a command card to activate units.
- Unit Activation: Each card specifies how many units can be activated in specific board sections.
- Movement Phase: Activated units are moved according to their movement range.
- Combat Phase: Activated units may attack enemy units in range using combat dice.
- Damage Calculation: Dice rolls determine hits and potential losses for opponents.
- Morale: Certain rolls can affect unit morale, leading to additional moves or retreats.
- Draw Phase: The player draws command cards to replenish their hand.
- Victory Check: Check if victory conditions have been met.
- Mission Completion: Some scenarios offer alternative victory conditions, such as reaching a specific terrain tile.
Victory
The player who first meets the victory conditions delineated by the chosen scenario wins the game. This might be achieved by eliminating a certain number of enemy units or fulfilling other scenario-specific objectives.
