Objective of the Game
The objective of Cameroonian Skat is to strategically play cards in order to win "tricks" and accumulate points. This game requires strategic thinking and the ability to assess the other players.
Game Setup
Cameroonian Skat is played with a French deck of 32 cards, including the Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10, 9, 8, 7 in each of the four suits (Clubs, Spades, Hearts, Diamonds).
Number of Players
- 3 Players: The classic version is played with exactly three players. A fourth can sit out or be included in the rotation.
Card Distribution
- Each player receives 10 cards at the start.
- The remaining 2 cards form the "skat" and are set aside without being looked at initially.
