Objective of the Game

In Rhino Hero: Super Battle, players take on the roles of superhero animals trying to climb the tallest towers while outperforming other heroes. The goal is to be the highest superhero on the tower with skill and a bit of dice luck without bringing the tower down.

• 3D tower pieces: wall and roof cards in cardboard format
• Superheroes: Rhino Hero and his friends as small game figures
• Battle dice
• Spider monkeys (small wooden figures)

Setup

1. At the beginning of the game, shuffle the wall cards and place them as a facedown stack.
2. Each player chooses a superhero and places it at the edge of the table; it will be introduced when entering the tower.
3. The base plates of the tower are set up according to the instructions to mark the start of the building tower.
4. Each player is dealt a number of hand cards (wall cards).

Gameplay

Rhino Hero: Super Battle is played clockwise and consists of several identical rounds:

1. Place Wall Cards: The player places one or two wall cards from their hand in the appropriate spot on the current topmost floor of the tower, forming the next tower level.
2. Place Roof Card: After the walls are placed, a roof card is drawn from the stack and placed on top of the newly formed walls. Certain roofs may have special symbols that trigger specific actions.
3. Superhero Battle: If another superhero is already on the same level, a duel ensues. Players take turns rolling the battle dice, and the winner stays on the current floor while the loser moves down one floor.
4. Add Spider Monkeys: If the roof card has a spider monkey symbol, the player must place a wooden monkey figure on the building, further testing the stability.

End of the Game

The game ends under the following conditions:

• The Tower Collapses: The player who causes the tower to collapse immediately loses the game. The player whose superhero is highest wins.
• Hand Cards are Used Up: If a player has played all their hand cards and their superhero stands highest, they win the game.

Strategic Tips

• Find Balance: While it may be tempting to switch roofs quickly and reach heights, a rash move can make the tower unstable.
• Plan Battles Carefully: Consider whether to challenge a fight or not – sometimes it's better to take a lower floor.
• Distribution of Spider Monkeys: Make sure to place the spider monkeys so that the weight is distributed as evenly as possible to avoid endangering the structure.
