Objective of the Game
Drop It is an engaging game where players aim to strategically drop their pieces onto a board in a way that earns them the most points. The key to winning is to place the pieces to maximize points while adhering to specific rules.
Setup
- Components: The game consists of a vertical board made of transparent material with various geometric shapes and colors depicted. Each player receives an equal number of game pieces in different shapes and colors.
- Setup: The board is placed in the center, accessible to all players. Each player chooses a color and takes all the pieces of that color.
- Number of Players: The game can be played with 2 to 4 players.
Gameplay
- Placing a Piece: The active player selects one of their pieces and drops it from the top into the transparent frame.
- Scoring Points:
- Each time a piece is placed, calculate the points obtained by its position and location.
- Points are based on how far the piece falls and which symbols it touches.
- Important: The piece must not break any of the following rules:
- The same piece must not land on a field with a symbol of the same color.
- The same piece must not land on a field with the same shape.
- A newly placed piece must not touch other pieces of the same shape or color.
- End of Turn: The next player takes their turn.
Ending the Game and Winning
- The game ends when all pieces have been played and no more can be placed.
- The player with the highest total score wins.
