Objective of the Game

Monster-Bande is a family and party game where players aim to create the most complete monsters from available monster part cards. Each player works to collect the right pieces to assemble a complete set.

Number of Players

The game can be played with 2 to 6 players.

Components

• Different cards featuring various monster torsos, arms, legs, heads, and feet.
• A die to determine player actions.
• A rulebook with a score chart and additional details.

Gameplay

1. Setup: Shuffle all the cards and place the deck face down in the center of the table.
2. Turn Structure:

3. Starting with one player, roll the die to determine the action for the round:

   • 1 or 2: The player draws a card from the deck and adds it to their hand.
   • 3 or 4: The player may swap one card from their hand with a card from another player.
   • 5 or 6: The player may discard up to two unneeded cards to a discard pile.

4. Players aim to assemble complete monsters, consisting of a torso, arms, legs, a head, and feet, by drawing and trading cards.

5. Each complete monster yields points based on rarity or special features as detailed in the rulebook.
6. The game ends when all cards have been drawn or a predetermined number of complete monsters have been assembled by any player (this number can be agreed upon before gameplay).

Scoring

• At the end of the game, review the monsters assembled by each player.
• Incomplete monsters score no points.
• Each complete monster scores a varying amount of points, detailed in the rulebook.
• The player with the highest score at the end wins.

• Plan trades carefully: Strategic trading with other players can be key to success. Consider what cards you need and make attractive offers.
• Monitor cards closely: Try to remember which cards others are collecting to make informed trading decisions and potentially hold back parts crucial to your opponents' success.
