Objective
Meuterer is a card game in which players aim to make profits by trading goods and performing strategic actions aboard a pirate ship. Players assume different roles, each with unique abilities to help or hinder the progress towards this objective.
Game Components
- A game board representing the southern islands where goods can be traded.
- Role cards that define various roles on the ship, such as Captain, Mutineer, Navigator, Cabin Boy, and Merchant.
- Goods cards representing different trade items like bananas, rum, tobacco, etc.
- Influence boards showing the players' influence on the ship.
Setup
- Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Each player receives a set of goods cards and influence boards in one color.
- Shuffle the role cards and deal them face-down to determine each player's role at the start of each round.
- Determine the starting Captain for the first round.
Game Play
The game progresses through several rounds with the following phases:

Role Assignment: Each player receives a role card face-down and may view their role privately.

Navigation: The Captain decides which of the available islands the ship will sail to, affecting the trade opportunities.

Mutiny or No Mutiny: Players may attempt to overthrow the Captain. This involves the Mutineer revealing their role and challenging the Captain, which requires support from other roles (e.g., the Navigator).

End of the Game
The game ends after a pre-determined number of rounds or when a specific score is reached. The player with the most trade profits and successful role actions wins the game.
