Objective of the Game
Trivial Pursuit is a classic trivia game where players showcase their knowledge across various categories. The main objective is to collect colored wedges by answering questions from all categories and fitting them into the player's game piece. The player who first collects all six wedges and correctly answers the final question wins the game.
Game Components
- Game Board with a circular pattern and color-coded spaces.
- Question Cards: Each card contains questions from six different categories.
- Game Pieces: Each player receives a game piece with six empty slots for the wedges.
- Wedges (small plastic pieces in six different colors).
- Die
Setup
- Each player selects a game piece and places it on the starting space in the middle of the board.
- The question cards are shuffled and placed in their respective holders on the game board.
Gameplay
- Player's Turn: The player rolls the die and moves their game piece the number of spaces rolled.
- Players can move in any direction but may not return to the space they just left.
- Category Spaces: Depending on the color space the player lands on, a question from that category is asked:
- Blue: Geography
- Pink: Entertainment
- Yellow: History
- Brown: Art and Literature
- Green: Science and Nature

Answering the Question: If the question is answered correctly, the player takes another turn. If answered incorrectly, the next player goes.

Winning Wedges: If a player lands on a "wedge" space and answers the question correctly, they earn a wedge of that category's color and place it in their game piece.
Winning the Game
- Final Round: Once a player has collected all six wedges, they try to return to the center of the board.
- Final Question: The player chooses a category, and the other players read a question from that category. If answered correctly, the player wins the game.
Strategic Tips
- Choice of Spaces: Players should aim to land on wedge spaces frequently to collect the necessary pieces.
- Category Focus: If a player is weaker in certain categories, they should attempt to cover those early if possible.
