Objective of the Game

Navia Dratp is a strategic board game with Asian influences, similar to Chess. The objective of the game is to either defeat the opponent's Summoner (a special piece) or maneuver your own Summoner into the opponent's Gate to win.

Components

  • A game board with a 7x7 grid.
  • Two sets of game pieces, each comprising a Summoner, Navia, and additional units.
  • Gyullas (pearl-like tokens used for scoring and as currency).

Setup

  1. Players decide randomly who will start.
  2. Each player places their Summoner and other units on their first row of the board. The Navia has special abilities and is also set up.
  3. Each player begins with a specific number of Gyullas.

Basic Rules

  • Turns: Players alternate turns. A turn can consist of moving a piece or activating a special skill.
  • Win Condition: Move your Summoner into the opponent's Gate or eliminate the opponent's Summoner.
  • Gyullas: These are used to activate Dratps (enhancements). Each unit has its own cost for triggering these enhancements.

Movement and Combat

  • Pieces have special movement rules described in the rulebook. The Summoner, for example, can only move one space in any direction, similar to the King in Chess.
  • Combat: Landing on an opponent's occupied square captures their piece.

Dratp (Enhancements)

  • Each piece can be enhanced by spending Gyullas, which provides additional abilities or stronger movement and attack options.
  • The Dratp is a critical strategic component, requiring careful consideration of when to spend resources.

Strategic Considerations

  • Positioning and Protecting the Summoner: Protecting your Summoner is crucial; an offensive player must ensure the Summoner isn't vulnerable.
  • Resource Management: Thoughtful use of Gyullas is essential to activate Dratps at opportune moments.
  • Gate Protection: It's important to defend your own Gate while advancing your units towards the opponent's Gate.

End of the Game

The game ends when a player either defeats the opponent’s Summoner or moves their own Summoner into the opponent’s Gate.
