Instructions So Kleever!

Objective of the Game

So Kleever! is a cooperative party game where players work together to guess the secret words on the clover leaves by creating associations. The objective is to score as many points as possible by correctly identifying connections between the words.

Components

• 1 Clover board per player
• 84 cards, each with 4 different words
• 20 scoring tokens
• 1 pen and paper (optional for notes)

Setup

1. Each player receives a clover board.
2. Shuffle the cards and place them in a stack.
3. Draw cards and randomly place them into the 4 card slots on your clover board. Each card has four words (one on each edge of the clover leaf).
4. Each player rotates their clover board so they can read all the words.

Game Play

1. Giving Clues: Each player thinks of an association word for each pair of words along the edges of their clover leaf. These association words are secretly written on the clover. Each edge of the clover leaf has two adjacent words that should be described by a clue.
2. After all players have noted their associations, the active player removes the word cards from their board and shuffles them.
3. Guessing: The other players must then correctly place the cards back onto the active player's clover board. They discuss and try to guess the associations correctly.
4. Once the players think they have arranged the cards correctly, the active player checks the attempt.

Scoring

• One point is awarded for each correct card placement.
• The game ends when each player has presented their clover board once, or a predetermined point total is achieved.

Strategic Tips

• Try not to choose too obvious associations, as they are easy to guess, but don't be too obscure either.
• Communicate openly with your teammates to avoid misunderstandings.
• Bear in mind the flexibility of word interpretation.

Special Features

• Since this is a cooperative game, there is no losing position, but the aim is to achieve the highest possible combined score.
• The game encourages imagination and communication skills.
