Objective
The objective of Strip Poker is similar to regular Poker, where players aim to win by forming the best hand of five cards or by bluffing other players into folding. The key difference is that instead of betting with chips or money, players use their clothing items as bets.
Game Preparation
- Number of Players: Strip Poker is typically played with at least two people, but there is no upper limit as long as each person has enough clothing items.
- Deck: A standard 52-card poker deck is used.
- Clothing as Stakes: At the beginning, all players should agree on how many clothing items each player is wearing and willing to bet. It helps if each player has roughly the same number of items.
Basic Poker Rules
Strip Poker follows the same basic rules as regular poker, with Texas Hold'em or Five-Card Draw being commonly used variants.

- Royal Flush
- Straight Flush
- Four of a Kind
- Full House

Gameplay:
- At the start of each round, players must bet a clothing item.
- The Deal: All players are dealt an equal number of cards (varies by poker variant).
- Betting Rounds: Players can call, raise, or fold.
- After each betting round, cards may be exchanged or additional cards drawn, depending on the poker variant being played.
-
Determining the Best Hand: Once all betting and exchange rounds are completed, each player reveals their hand.
-
Losing a Round: The player with the weakest hand or the last one to fold has to remove a clothing item.
Strategic Tips
- Bluffing: As important in Strip Poker as in regular Poker, bluffing can trick opponents into folding when you have a weak hand.
- Bet Management: Since clothing is used as a bet, strategically managing when to remove clothing is crucial for lasting through later rounds.
- Setting Expectations: Prior to starting, all participants should discuss and agree on the limits to avoid serious or uncomfortable situations.
Special Considerations
It is vital that all players understand the rules and the implications of removing clothing and are comfortable with it. Communication and consent are essential to ensuring a respectful and enjoyable gaming experience.
