Objective of the Game
The aim of "Der Geburtstag" is to be the first player to successfully complete all the tasks at the birthday party and leave the party as the winner.
Setup
- Number of Players: 2-6 players.
- Each player selects a game piece and places it on the start space of the game board.
- Shuffle the task and event cards and place them next to the board.
Gameplay Rules

Starting the Game: Players roll the dice to determine the starting order. The player with the highest number begins, then play proceeds clockwise.

Game Flow:
- On their turn, each player rolls the dice and moves their piece forward by the rolled number.
- If a player lands on a Task Space, they draw a card from the task deck and must complete the task. Success allows them to double their next move.

Landing on an Event Space prompts the player to draw an event card, which may have special effects, such as skipping spaces or missing a turn.

Special Rules:
- Double Rolling: Rolling doubles allows a player either to move double the number of spaces or to pick an additional task card of their choice to complete.

Cooperation Spaces: On these spaces, players can work together to complete a particularly challenging task.

End of the Game:
- The first player to complete all tasks and reach the finish space wins. Alternatively, a score system can be used, where the player with the most points after a predetermined number of rounds wins.
Strategy Tips
- Planning Ahead: Anticipate future moves to avoid unfavorable event spaces.
- Utilize Cooperation: Sometimes it is advantageous to cooperate with another player to secure upcoming benefits.
- Risk Assessment: Decide whether it is worth the risk to double roll or if a safe move is more beneficial.

- Expanded Variants: Based on group size and experience, the game can be expanded with additional tasks or special event cards to adjust the level of difficulty.
