Objective of the Game:
The objective of the game "Mir kann keiner!" is to be the first player to discard all of your hand cards by skillfully matching and discarding cards based on their color or number. Players tactically play to get rid of their cards, aiming to be the first with none left.
Game Materials:
- A deck consisting of 66 cards, featuring various colors and numbers.
Game Setup:
- Shuffle the deck thoroughly.
- Each player draws six cards from the deck to form their starting hand.
- One card is placed face-up in the center to form the discard pile.
- The remaining cards are placed as a draw pile next to the discard pile.
Game Play:
- The player to the left of the dealer begins, and play proceeds clockwise.
- A player’s turn consists of the following actions:
- The player may place a card from their hand onto the discard pile if it matches either the color or the number of the top card on the discard pile.
- If the player cannot or chooses not to play a card, they must draw a card from the draw pile.
- If the drawn card can be played immediately, the player may do so. Otherwise, the turn ends.
Special Cards and Actions:
Certain cards trigger special actions: - Plus Cards: The next player must draw a specified number of cards. - Color Change Cards: The current player decides the new color to be played. - Repeat Cards: The player who played this card gets another turn immediately.
Winning the Game:
- The game ends when a player has no cards left in their hand. This player shouts "Mir kann keiner!" and wins the game.
- Alternatively, a point system can be used where remaining cards of other players are counted at the end of each round. The player with the fewest points after a predetermined number of rounds wins.
