Objective
The objective of Bowls is to roll your bowls as close as possible to the smaller target ball, often called the Jack. The player or team whose bowls are closest to the Jack after all have been played wins the round and scores points.
Game Materials
- Bowls: Each player typically has four asymmetrical large bowls that curve when they roll.
- Jack: A smaller white target ball.
- Playing Field: A flat rectangular area, usually grass.
Setup
- Define the playing area. Bowls can be played on grass or a smooth surface.
