The goal of the game "Das Quadrat" is to form a complete square on the game board by strategically placing stones, before any other player does.

Gameplay

• Move: During a turn, a player places one of their stones on any empty square of the grid.
• Game Objective: Form a complete square consisting solely of their stones.

Rules

• Square Formation: A square can be 2x2 squares or larger.
• Stone Placement: Only one stone per turn can be placed.
• Blocking Strategy: Players can attempt to block others from forming squares by placing stones strategically.
• Winning Condition: The first player to form a square with their color wins.

End of the Game

The game ends when a player successfully forms a complete square. If the board fills up without any clear squares, the game ends in a draw.
