Objective of the Game

The objective of "N" is to place your chips strategically on the board to achieve the highest score possible through smart placements and tactical moves.

Number of Players: 2-4 players

Game Components: - A game board with a 6x6 grid - 60 chips in four different colors (15 chips per color) - Scoring overview and point table

Setup: - Each player selects a color and receives 15 chips of that color. - The game board is placed in the center of the table, accessible to all players.

Gameplay:

  1. Starting the Game:
  2. Players draw cards to determine who starts.
  3. The starting player begins by placing one of their chips on any free square.

  4. Player Turns:

  5. Play proceeds clockwise.
  6. Each player takes turns placing a chip on a free square on the board.
  7. Whenever a chip is placed, the player adds up points for any adjacent chips.

  8. Scoring:

  9. Points are awarded based on the number of connected chips in the player's color.
  10. More connected chips of the same color score more points.

  11. Ending the Game:

  12. The game ends when all squares are occupied, or no legal moves are possible.
  13. Players add up their scores as indicated in the scoring table.

  14. Determining the Winner:

  15. The player with the highest total score wins.

Strategy Tips:

  • Positioning: Place your chips close to each other to maximize point potential.
  • Blocking: Interrupt opponents' clusters to reduce their scoring opportunities.
  • Planning: Plan several moves ahead to maintain board control.

Special Features:

  • A Chain Victory can be achieved by forming a line of five chips. This should be a part of your overall strategy.
  • Bonus Points are awarded for the longest unbroken chain by any player.
