Objective of the Game
"Die Legenden von Andor" is a cooperative board game where players work together to play against the game system. The objective is to successfully complete one or more legends (adventures) by fulfilling specific tasks and protecting the land of Andor from looming threats.
Game Setup 1. Setting up the Board: Place the game board in the center of the table. Choose a legend and set the corresponding legend cards aside. 2. Choosing Characters: Each player selects a hero and takes the corresponding hero board, figure, willpower marker, and color-specific dice. The heroes available are: Warrior, Archer, Wizard, and Dwarf. 3. Starting Position: Place the hero figures on the starting space indicated on the current legend card. 4. Prepare Game Materials: Position creatures, figures, and accessories (shields, hero dice, wells) on the board as directed by the legend card. 5. Distribute Materials: Give gold, items, and other materials according to the legend card's instructions. 6. Start the Legend: Place the storyteller on the narration track on space “A.”
Game Flow The game runs over several days. Each day consists of two phases: Day Phase and Night Phase.
- Day Phase: The heroes take turns in any order, but they only have 7 hours (movement slots) total to perform actions each day. For each hour, the heroes can choose to move, fight monsters, or use abilities.
- Movement: Each hour allows a hero to move one space.
- Combat: Fighting takes up one hour. To battle, heroes roll their dice. The player with the highest result can decide if it stands or if it should be re-rolled. Heroes can combine forces and add their dice scores.

Using or Collecting Items: Also consumes an hour.

Night Phase: Players may rest to regain three willpower points per rest unit.
The Storyteller and Events - The Storyteller progresses along the narration track as certain actions are performed (like removing a monster from the board). Events or new tasks are activated when the storyteller reaches specific spaces.
Victory Conditions The team wins if all the tasks of the legend can be completed before the storyteller reaches the end of the track.
Special Mechanisms and Tips - Cooperation is Key: Coordinate as a team to combine your actions effectively since the game can be challenging. - Willpower as a Resource: Pay attention to the willpower points as they are crucial for combat strength. - Day Planning: Use the hours of the day wisely and save resources like wells and gold for critical moments. - Anticipate Enemy Movements: Keep an eye on creature movements as they also progress along the zodiac path.
