Gambling Game

group 1 - 7 Deutsch

Objective of the Game

The goal of Caribbean Stud is to have a better poker hand than the dealer, with specific poker combinations offering various payouts.

Game Components

  • A 52-card deck (no jokers)
  • A table with marked areas for bets
  • Chips for betting

Gameplay

  1. Betting Phase: Each player places an ante bet before any cards are dealt. An optional side bet for the progressive jackpot can also be placed.

  2. Dealing Cards:

  3. Each player receives five face-down cards.
  4. The dealer also receives five cards, with one card face-up.

  5. Decision Making:

  6. After receiving the cards, players decide whether to play their hand. They can choose to fold or place a raise bet that is double the ante.

  7. Dealer Qualification:

  8. The dealer reveals their remaining four cards. The dealer qualifies with at least an Ace-King.
  9. If the dealer does not qualify: The player’s ante bet is paid out at 1:1, and the raise bet is returned.
  10. If the dealer qualifies and wins: Both the player’s ante and raise bets are lost.
  11. If the player wins: The ante bet is paid at 1:1, and the raise bet is paid out according to a payout table.

  12. Payouts are based on the player's hand, such as:

  13. Royal Flush: 100:1
  14. Straight Flush: 50:1
  15. Four of a Kind: 20:1
  16. Full House: 7:1
  17. Flush: 5:1
  18. Straight: 4:1
  19. Three of a Kind: 3:1
  20. Two Pair: 2:1
  21. Pair: 1:1

  22. Progressive Jackpot (optional): The side bet is paid only if a player has a very strong hand, like a flush or better. Exact payouts vary by casino.

Strategic Considerations

  • Betting Strategy: A conservative approach is to fold any hand worse than Ace-King and otherwise almost always bet.
  • Jackpot Side Bet: This bet can be risky relative to your budget but offers the chance of big wins.

Special Features

  • Caribbean Stud is played directly against the house, not other players.
  • Unlike other poker forms, there is no bluffing or raising round.

Good luck conquering the Caribbean tables!
