Objective of the Game
Spellfire is a collectible card game where you build a deck composed of heroes, magic, treasures, and lands. The objective is to be the first player to play and defend six lands.
Game Materials
- Cards: Spellfire cards include various categories such as Characters, Artifacts, Allies, Events, Magic, and Realms. Each card has specific traits and values.
- Decks: Each player has a deck comprised of at least 50 cards. Games with more cards are possible, but 50 is the standard.
Setup
- Deck Building: Each player shuffles their personal deck. Decks consist of offensive and defensive cards as well as supportive cards like magic and artifacts.
- Initial Setup: Each player draws 5 cards from their deck to form their starting hand.
Game Play Sequence
The game is played in rounds, with each player completing the following phases in turn:

Draw Phase: At the start of each turn, a player draws cards until they have five cards in hand.

Play a Realm: If able and desired, the player may play a single new realm card per turn.

Attack Phase: The active player can attempt to attack and conquer opposing realms by playing a hero card along with support from Event, Magic, or Artifact cards.

Defense: The defending player counters by playing a hero card to protect their realm. Supportive cards may also be used in defense.

Resolution: The outcome of the battle is decided by comparing values, taking into account any additional effects from cards to determine the winner of the combat.

End Phase: If the attack is successful, the attacker acquires the realm and adds it to their collection. If the attack fails, the realm remains with the defender.
Winning Conditions
The first player to control six realms wins the game.
