Objective of the Game
Rüsselbande is a fun racing game where players act as farmers trying to get their pigs to the finish line first. The game relies on dice luck and strategic advancement to win.
Setup
- Set up the board: Place the game board in the middle of the table. It represents a racetrack with various spaces.
- Select pig figures: Each player chooses a color and takes the corresponding pig figures, placing them on the starting field.
- Prepare the dice: Two special dice are required for the game and should be placed nearby.
Game Play
- Start of the round: The youngest player begins, and play proceeds clockwise.
- Roll the dice: Every player rolls the two special dice, which show numbers and colors indicating how many spaces a pig can move forward and the possible color of the pigs.
- Move pigs: Move the pigs according to the rolled numbers and colors. Some results allow you to move pigs of other players.
Special Rules
- Overtaking: Pigs can stand on the same space. Multiple pigs on a space mean only the first pig counts as being ahead.
- Crossing the finish line: Once a pig crosses the finish line, place it on the podium. The order of placement depends on when the pigs reach the finish.
Strategy Tips
- Prioritize your pigs: Try to advance your pigs as often as possible.
- Use dice strategically: Use the opportunity to move other pigs to potentially slow them down.
- Blockade fields: Use tactical positions on the track to position your pigs and block others.
End of the Game
The game ends when all pigs have crossed the finish line. The winner is the player whose pigs occupy the top podium positions. In the event of a tie, the player with more pigs on the podium wins.
