Naschi Waschi

Objective of the Game:
In "Naschi Waschi," the goal is to be the first to chase all the raccoons out of the trash cans while scoring the most points from collected garbage cards.

Setup

  • Set up the Board: Place the game board in the center of the table.
  • Set up Trash Cans: Place the plastic garbage cans in the designated spots.
  • Raccoon Figures: Each player receives a raccoon figure and places it on the starting space.
  • Shuffle Garbage Cards: Shuffle the garbage cards and deal three to each player.
  • Shuffle Event Cards: Shuffle the event cards and place them face down next to the board.

Gameplay

  1. Determine Starting Player: The youngest player starts. Then it continues clockwise.
  2. Turn Structure:
  3. Roll the Dice: The active player rolls both dice.
  4. Move: Move your raccoon figure forward the number of spaces rolled.
  5. Perform Action: Perform the action of the space you land on. This could be drawing a garbage card, executing an event card, or swapping your garbage cards with another player.
  6. End Turn: Once a player has performed their action, it is the next player's turn.

Action Spaces

  • Garbage Space: Draw two garbage cards from the pile.
  • Event Space: Draw an event card and follow the instructions on it. This might make you give away cards or gain additional ones.
  • Swap Space: Exchange any number of your garbage cards with another player.

Garbage Cards

Garbage cards represent various types of garbage, such as banana peels, cans, or old newspapers. Some garbage cards have special abilities that take effect immediately when drawn.

Event Cards

Event cards can significantly influence the course of the game. They can speed up the game or slow it down, and some grant additional points.

End of the Game

The game ends when a player manages to chase all of their raccoons out of the trash cans. Points are then tallied, and the player with the most points wins.

Strategic Tips

  • Avoid Banana Peels: These cards usually result in negative points.
  • Keep an Eye on Event Cards: They can change the game's flow at any moment.
  • Use Timing When Swapping: Thoughtfully choose when to swap to take points away from other players.
