Objective of the Game
The goal of Stöckchen setzen is to complete specific tasks to achieve results tied to a predetermined score. Players compete against each other by strategically planning and effectively playing their hand cards.
Game Components
- A special card deck
- Player tokens or game pieces
- A game board or play area where cards can be played
- Scorepad for recording scores
Game Setup
- Prepare the card deck: Shuffle the cards well and deal a certain number of cards to each player based on the number of players.
- Position game pieces: Each player selects a token and places it on the starting field on the board.
- Prepare the scorepad: Keep the scorepad and a pen ready to record points during the game.
Gameplay
The game proceeds in several rounds, which unfold as follows:

Play a card: In each turn, the active player plays a card from their hand. The cards have specific functions, such as moving forward on the board, countering other cards, or drawing additional cards.

Complete a task: Each card requires the player to complete a small task, whether it’s performing a specific action on the board or answering a question. Depending on whether the task is successfully solved or not, the player receives points or loses cards.

End of turn: At the end of the turn, the player draws cards to refill their hand to the original number.

End of round: When all players have finished a turn, the round ends and points are recorded.
End of the Game
The game ends when a player reaches a pre-determined score. The player with the highest score is declared the winner.
