Objective of the Game

The Karma Game is a fast-paced and exciting card game where the aim is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. Players must cleverly use their hand cards and stack cards to have no cards left in their hand before the round ends.

Materials

• A deck of special Karma cards.

Setup

1. Deal Player Cards: Shuffle all the cards well. Each player receives three cards, placed face down in front of them - these are the "Karma Cards."
2. Hand out Hand Cards: Each player receives six additional hand cards, which they may look at.
3. Place Table Cards: From the remaining cards, each player takes three cards and places them face up on top of the face-down "Karma Cards."
4. Start Pile: The rest of the cards form the draw pile in the center.

Gameplay

Turns

1. The starting player places one or more cards of the same value on the discard pile.
2. Play in turns: Afterwards, players take turns placing one or more cards, which must be of the same or higher value than the last card.
3. Draw Cards: If a player cannot place any card from their hand, they must draw cards from the draw pile until they can once again place a card.
4. Special Cards: Some cards have special effects, such as resetting the value to any card or reversing the direction of play. These cards can be used strategically to affect the game's pace or block opponents.

Special Cards and Rules

• Karma Cards: These cards can be played at any time and allow the player to change the card weight (the current card value).
• Cards with "Special Effects", such as swapping the lowest for the highest card or similar, which can be used to significantly affect the game during a turn.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon as one player has completely disposed of all their cards (hand and table cards). The "Karma Cards" are the last ones that can be played. The first player to get rid of these wins the game.

Strategy Tips

• Card Management: It is wise to save strong cards for later moves to remain capable of action.
• Use Special Cards Optimally: These can turn the game on its head and should be used to maximum advantage.
• Watch the Opponents: Since the game primarily involves a luck factor, it is important to pay attention to opponents' strategies to predict their play style and adjust accordingly.
