Objective of the Game
The Starfarers of Catan is a strategic board game where players take the roles of spacefarers in a distant universe. The objective is to build colonies, establish trade routes, and ultimately reach 15 victory points.
Game Setup
- Each player receives a player board with a mothership and corresponding space components.
- The game board is set up with starting colonies and space stations for each player.
- A resource supply with items like "carbon," "ore," etc., is prepared.
- Development cards are shuffled and placed face down, available to draw.
- A turn marker is placed on the game board.
Gameplay
The game is played in a series of turns, each consisting of the following phases:
