Land unter

Objective

The objective of "Land unter" is to collect the least amount of water points by strategically playing your cards and using rescue buoys wisely to mitigate high water levels.

Setup

• Cards: The game consists of 60 cards, including 24 number cards (values from 1 to 12) and 36 water level cards (values from 1 to 12).
• Rescue Buoys: There are a total of 12 rescue buoys distributed evenly, depending on the number of players.

Gameplay

1. Dealing Cards: Each player receives a set of number cards (12 cards per player).
2. Water Level Cards: Each round, the same number of water level cards is revealed as the number of players.
3. Playing Cards: All players choose one of their number cards and place it face down.
4. Revealing Cards: All players reveal their cards simultaneously.

6. The highest played number card takes the highest water level card, the second highest takes the second, and so on.
7. In case of tied numbers, suit matters: from lowest to highest in value, the suits are Red, Yellow, Green, Blue.
8. Using Rescue Buoys: Per round, each player can absorb water level points equal to the rescue buoys they have. The remaining points are counted as minus points.
9. Returning Rescue Buoys: Players with more water level points than rescue buoys must keep the excess points as negative scores for the next round.
10. Next Round: Further rounds proceed until all number cards are played.

Ending the Game

The game ends when all number cards have been played. Total up the points from collected water levels. The player with the fewest points wins.

• Rescue Buoy Management: Use your rescue buoys wisely to mitigate high water values.
