Das Gold der Inka

Objective:
In "Das Gold der Inka," players assume the roles of explorers aiming to find the mystical treasure of the Incas hidden deep within the jungle. The goal is to be the first to reach the gold and safely bring it out of the jungle.

Game Components

• Game board with various jungle paths
• Adventure cards
• Weather cards
• Player tokens
• Gold coins (or tokens to represent gold)

Setup

1. Board setup: Lay out the game board on a flat surface. Each player selects a token and places it on the start field.
2. Preparing the cards: Shuffle the adventure and weather cards separately and place them next to the board.
3. Gold: Place the gold coins on the gold field at the opposite end of the board.

Game Play

The game is played in rounds, where each player can perform the following actions on their turn:

1. Move: Roll a six-sided die and move your token along the path according to the number rolled.
2. Event spaces: If you land on a space with a special symbol, draw either an adventure or a weather card and follow the instructions. These cards can have positive or negative effects, such as moving forward, gaining coins, or skipping a turn.
3. Acquiring Gold: When a player reaches the gold field, they take a coin and attempt to move back to the start field.

Special Rules

• Jungle Paths: Some paths may be blocked or require additional movement to pass. Pay attention to hints on the adventure cards that can help bypass blockages.
• Interactions: Players can trade amongst themselves, such as exchanging cards to gain strategic advantages.
• Returning Route: On the way back, other players may attempt to steal the gold.
• Weather Cards: These influence the entire board for the next round until replaced by a new card.
• Option for Teamwork: Players can decide to act in teams to make the game both cooperative and competitive.

End of Game

The game ends when a player successfully brings the gold back to the start field. That player is the winner.

Strategic Tips

• Risk Assessment: Decide when to land on event spaces or avoid them.
• Cooperation: Consider teaming up with other players to overcome blockages.
• Timing: Plan your return move to escape others or capture your opponent's gold.
