Objective:
The objective of "Behind" is to strategically manoeuvre and use your resources to accumulate the most points and emerge victorious by the end of the game.
Components:
- A game board with various regions
- Different tokens or pieces for each player
- A set of cards featuring specific actions
- Score trackers or a score sheet
Setup:
- Place the game board on a flat surface.
- Each player selects a color and takes the corresponding tokens and a score tracker.
- Shuffle the cards well and deal a specific number to each player (based on the number of players and preparation rules).
- Decide who will take the first turn by rolling a die or using another random method.
Gameplay Overview:
"Behind" is played in rounds, with each round consisting of the following phases:
- Playing Cards:
At the beginning of each round, each player plays a hand card. These cards are used to perform certain actions like moving tokens, gaining extra points, or blocking opponents.
Note: Sometimes, holding back cards for later, more crucial rounds can be a smart tactical decision. - Moving Tokens:
Players can move their tokens on the board according to the moves allowed by the cards. Different board areas offer varying advantages or challenges. - Scoring Points:
At the end of each round, points are calculated based on the positioning of the tokens and the cards played. - Passing the Round Marker:
Once a round is complete, the round marker is passed to the next player. The game continues over a predetermined number of rounds agreed upon before starting.
Strategic Tips:
- Plan ahead and keep an eye on the card strategy of your opponents.
- Position your tokens in areas where they can gain the greatest advantage for the upcoming round.
- Timing is crucial to playing high-impact cards at the right moment.

End of the Game and Winning Conditions:
The game ends after the agreed number of rounds. The player with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, an additional round or another criterion can be used to determine the winner.
