Objective
The goal of Half Pint Heroes is to predict the number of tricks you will win each round and score the most points by successfully meeting those predictions over several rounds. The game ends after a set number of rounds, and the player with the most points wins.
Game Components
- 90 Cards: Cards are in five different colors, each numbered from 0 to 9.
- 1 Scorepad: Used for recording trick predictions and scores.
- 1 Trick Board: Used for tracking the number of won tricks and verifying score calculation.
- 1 Rulebook
Setup
- Each player receives an equal number of cards, depending on the number of players.
- The remaining stack is placed facedown as a draw pile.
- The scorepad and trick board are placed in the center of the table.
Game Play

Bidding: At the start of each round, players secretly predict the number of tricks they will win.

Playing Cards: Similar to traditional trick-taking games, the first player leads a card, and others follow:

Important: Players must follow the lead suit if possible. If they can’t, any card may be played.

Winning Tricks: The player with the highest card in the led suit wins the trick and leads the next one.

End of Round: After all cards are played, the round ends, and points are awarded based on trick predictions and results:
- Exact match in prediction (exactly predicted tricks won): 10 points plus the number of tricks won.
