Objective of the Game
"Catan – The Chocolate Market" is a variant of the well-known game "Catan." The objective is to skillfully trade chocolate goods, build factories and market stalls, and accumulate the most victory points. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game wins.

Setup
- Set up the game board: Arrange the hex tiles to create a diverse playing field. The hex tiles represent different types of chocolate.
- Distribute resources: Evenly distribute the chocolate resource cards to each player.
- Determine the starting order: Randomly decide who starts. Players alternately place their first market stalls and factories on the junctions between the hex tiles.
Gameplay
Turn
- Resource Production: At the beginning of each turn, the current player rolls the dice. Depending on the roll, the hex tiles marked with the corresponding number produce new chocolate.
- Trade and Build:
- Trade: Players can trade chocolate with each other to meet their needs.
- Build: With the collected resources, players can build new market stalls and factories.
- Use actions: Players can perform special actions described on the victory points cards.

- Build factories: Requires dark and milk chocolate.
- Erect market stalls: Requires each type of chocolate goods.
- Acquire victory points: Some cards can be used to collect additional victory points and are exchangeable for any type of chocolate.

Game Ending and Winning
The game ends when a player reaches a predetermined number of victory points. The player with the most victory points wins.
